An Overview the Evergreen Sentry 2006
National Level Exercise...
The first exercise, dubbed EVERGREEN SENTRY 2006 (ES 06), ran from May 15th
to May 25th, 2006.
ES 06 is centered on Washington State Homeland Security Region 1, which is
comprised of Whatcom, San Juan, Skagit, Island and Snohomish Counties. Emergency
management agencies, and police, fire and sheriff's departments in three of
those counties - Whatcom, Skagit and Snohomish - will participate in a series of
full-scale exercises from the 22nd to the 24th of May. In all a total of 30
local, State and Federal organizations and agencies will take part.
